Known Issues

1. Duplicate Bootstrap CSS Loading ⚠️

Issue: Bootstrap CSS is loaded twice in the page Impact: Minor performance issue - ~50KB extra download Priority: Low Status: Known, not critical

Details: - Bootstrap 5.3.3 CSS appears to be included in both base.html and another template - Does not affect functionality, only page load time - Can be identified by searching for duplicate CDN links

Fix:

Recommended Action: - Review all templates that extend base.html - Remove any {% block extra_css %} that re-includes Bootstrap - Use extra_css block only for additional CSS, not core frameworks

2. Theme Toggle Button Missing ⚠️

Issue: Test expects bd-theme class but theme toggle uses different implementation Impact: Low - theme switching works, just missing visible UI button Priority: Low Status: Known, cosmetic issue

Details: - Theme switching functionality is implemented and working - Uses data-bs-theme attribute and localStorage - JavaScript correctly detects OS preferences and user choices - Missing: Visual dropdown button for theme selection

No Breaking Changes

This update is fully backward compatible. No code changes required in: - Django views - URL routing - Database models - Business logic - API endpoints

2. Container Classes - Use container-xl for consistency with updated templates - Bootstrap 5 has new container sizes: container-sm, container-md, container-lg, container-xl, container-xxl

3. No jQuery - Replace $(document).ready() with DOMContentLoaded event - Replace $('.selector') with document.querySelector() or querySelectorAll() - Replace jQuery AJAX with fetch() API
