Plausible reversals, enumerated without rooting for them. (1) The archive succeeds and becomes unnavigable: comprehensiveness defeats enlightenment, and the vault becomes its own best exhibit. (2) The engine’s throughput outruns human review; the gate becomes ceremonial; filler wins — the encyclopedia of irony dies of sincerity about its own quality. (3) The quiet reversal: the vault stays excellent and small, meaning the founding mandate reversed — perpetual growth was never the ingredient; refusal was.
Settlement criteria. At each maturity review the gardener records: canon size, compost ratio, orphaned-note count, and one honest paragraph on whether a newcomer starting at Home still finds a garden or a warehouse.
